The second Sinai series, remaining as a permanent exhibition at Blue Beach. From Camel racing Bedouins on dusty desert tracks to peaceful sunset scapes illuminating 6000 year old tombs, a collection of images capturing the spirit and culture of South Sinai. Full Sinai collection.

Sinai Walk – Dahab – 2007

A collection of images exhibited at Blue Beach Bar ‘The furry cup’ in Dahab following Graeme’s early 2007 walk of the Aqaba coastline of the Sinai. During the two and a half week coastal trek from Taba in the north to Sharm El Sheikh at the tip of the peninsular in the south he took a series of images capturing the life and culture of the Bedouin people. A selection of these images along with a collection of 35mm negative B&W prints from the late nineties created the 2007 exhibition. Full Sinai series.

Still only the bones of what I’d like to see here, it’s a great feeling to get it online finally… do let me know what you think, and any suggestions you might have. It’s inspired me to get out there and create more….dream more and bring it all back to fill my little corner of the web.

Coming soon will be some new images from the Sinai, including some from the beautiful bursts of spring life we’ve witnessed here recently. Also, coming up in early July will be the first European Sinai exhibition in Munich, Germany. Images and news of that to follow.
